8 months agoI spent the last nine months hanging out with Jimmy Butler and Jayson Tatum. So unbelievably lucky to have my dream job. Profound thanks to two incredible athletes and human beings. Was definitely interesting to film across two fierce rivals but I couldn’t have asked for more generous, inspiring, and charismatic documentary participants. What they shared is going to blow people’s minds. Thanks as well to their friends, family, and reps who moved heaven and earth for us. And thank you to the coaches, experts, former players, and fans who gave so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you @beetsaladbar @mrrissz and Philip Byron for bringing me on-board. Thank you to my collaborators @trishtanw and Susan Ansman and the whole talented team at @uninterrupted and the @nba who made the magic happen along with our amazing partners at @netflix, @highergroundmedia, @omahaproductions, @celtics, and @miamiheat. Souley’s moving story and the context behind how he was exploited by shady recruiters is now one gripping episode of the new @uninterrupted show The Real Stories of Basketball narrated by @matt_barnes9 and EP’d by @kingjames and @mavcarter Profoundly grateful to Souley and heroic investigative journalists, Teri Thompson and Luke Cyphers, who trusted us with their reporting.
