a year agoAfter rolling my eyes at home workouts for years I learnedโ€ฆโฃ โฃ It doesnโ€™t matter where the workouts takes place, but the effort you put into them. โฃ โฃ 4.5 years ago I brought my workouts home. I wasnโ€™t sure if Iโ€™d see results following a program that required limited space and just dumbbells, but to save time and money I tried it. โฃ โฃ Here what learned:โฃ โœจYou CAN see results doing workouts at home โฃ โœจYou donโ€™t need fancy equipment. Dumbbells will doโฃ โœจYou donโ€™t need a whole lot of space โฃ โœจ30 minutes is adequate for an effective workoutโฃ โœจA lot of excuses go away when the gym is at homeโฃ โœจFitness/workouts can actually be funโฃ โœจWorkouts at home doesnโ€™t = alone #accountability โฃ โœจIt can be an investment up front, but saves in the long run. Time and money. โฃ โฃ Iโ€™ll admit I was impressed when I took the first progress pictures after 4 weeks back in 2020. Whatโ€™s even more impressive is 4 and a 1/2 years later Iโ€™m STILL SEEING RESULTS with these programs from home, 30-40 minutes, 4-5 days per week. โฃ โฃ They work when you do. No matter where you do them. โฃ โฃ What do you have to lose? 9 months agoYou donโ€™t need a long time. 30-40 minutes will do. You alsoโ€ฆโฃ โฃ Donโ€™t need a lot of equipment and the workout itself doesnโ€™t need to be completed. โฃ โฃ 9 years of working out myself and almost 5 years of getting other busy ladies set up with effective workout programs, Iโ€™ve learned that the simpler the workout the more effective. โฃ โฃ Straight forward lifting is my favorite. Add a little cardio (not a lot) and maybe some core if those align with your goals and your โญ๏ธgoldenโญ๏ธ to see results if you put in the work. โฃ โฃ As for time it really doesnโ€™t have to be long. Another things Iโ€™ve learned and am so thankful for is the quality of your workout is better than the quantity of time you spend doing it. โฃ โฃ For the last 5 years my workouts are 30-40 minutes for the most part.โฃ โฃ All you need are a few sets of dumbbells, nothing fancy, and Iโ€™ve done all of my workouts from home the last 5 years.
