This group, all young and female, evaded their enclosure around 1 p.m., sparking a search effort involving both the facility’s staff and local authorities. The monkeys, weighing only 6-7 pounds each, are unaccustomed to human interaction and described as skittish. Officials are working to lure them back with food, urging locals to avoid the area, keep windows and doors closed, and report any sightings to ensure a safe capture
