9 months ago2 days before arriving to Ishigaki, Japan, our rudder shaft got bent after hit by a massive wave that almost capsized the boat. With the help of sailors in Ishigaki, we found a factory to straighten the shaft and we reinforced the shaft tube by inserting solid SS rod with slow curing epoxy. #sailingteamrandom #catalina400 #rolexchinasearace
